For those of you who don’t know our friends Andrea and Jasper Kaufman, they are an amazing couple, newlyweds, married March 7th, 2020.  They have cared for those in our community for many years in the field of nursing and are loved by everyone that knows them. Recently Andrea Kaufman was diagnosed with breast cancer and is now nineteen weeks pregnant.  It’s an incredibly difficult time for her family as you can imagine. Andrea is currently going through chemotherapy which, along with pregnancy, has been taking a lot of her energy.  Jasper had mentioned help with housekeeping would be of great assistance to them during this challenging time. I’m reaching out to anyone willing to help with donations for a housekeeper and any additional money would go to medical expenses. Here’s their story told by her husband Jasper Kaufman: 



“Exciting and good news is that Andrea is just shy of 19 weeks pregnant.... And it's a girl! She's growing well.

Not so good news: At 8 weeks a left breast lump was incidentally found on routine exam. Biopsy revealed triple negative invasive carcinoma.

Andrea has since completed 3 of 4 biweekly A&C chemotherapy. These are the worst and taking a terrible toll on her causing bad fatigue and GI issues. She then has 10 weekly Taxol. Then induce baby at 37 weeks and then mastectomy after.

Andrea is taking off work and had to give up school for now as a result.

We are hanging in there and will get past this because of family/friends and with our strong medical backgrounds.
