Hi I am Jeffrey the caregiver I’m writing in behalf of Andrea “Tookie “ Rado. She is 79 turning 80. living in Elk Grove , California. She was diagnosed in 1989 with progressive Multiple Sclerosis . Her doctor or 30 years is amazed that she is still alive but after a large loss of her eye sight and hearing & The doctor says she is on the last phase of her illness. She stays in bed around 20 hours a day and gets up & sit on wheel chair for a few hours. basically I am her arm and ears. Having gone through her in home care funds and all sources have been exhausted already. Is care home facility the only option?
Her wishes and hopes is to stay home with Mickey her husband and myself as her caregiver. I really think being in a care home facility would deteriorate her health really fast. Basically our goal here is to keep her at her home and make it as comfortable as possible. Working for her for 5 years 7 days a week. I pretty much know the in and out on her daily life.
Her needs right now is for about $60,000. will help cover the expenses that comes with this illness. All the donations would directly be deposited to Andrea Rado’s account which is handled by her husband Mickey & if there is money left after her she passes It will go to charities namely The DAV and The Salvation Army. Any donations will be greatly appreciated. Please share this request to friends and family.
Hoping and Praying that a collective group of family / friends & people with kind hearts would help us reach this goal. Thank you very much for your time. God Bless!
PS: All of this attempt to raise some funds to keep her at home is known by the and Andrea ‘ Tookie “ Rado. And her husband Mickey If there are any questions please feel free to reach out.
