Andrea Prudente

Hi, my name is Kim, and I’m fund raising to help cover the medical bills for my good friend Andrea Prudente.

 
Andrea has been living in a nightmare in Malta. She, and my brother Jay, were celebrating their babymoon in a beautiful country with top notch health care. This baby has been dreamt about for years and the trip should have been a once in a lifetime type incredible vacation.
 
Unfortunately, shortly after they arrived the nightmare began. Andrea started to bleed profusely on and off. They were in and out of the hospital, finally to learn the tragic news that the pregnancy was no longer viable. However, she didn’t miscarry the baby. This is where the real nightmare began. She needs medical intervention to step in to save her life. It should have been relatively easy for the medical staff to help, and then time to heal physically and emotionally. But in Malta all abortions are illegal, even if there is close to a zero chance the baby will survive. After a grueling week in the hospital in Malta, hoping and praying that a deadly infection wouldn’t take over, Andrea has been approved to be flown via air ambulance to a hospital in another country to receive the procedure to save her life. Hallelujah!
 
We’re hoping, praying and sending so much love to Andrea for a safe and healthy end to this tragic event. ❤️
