Hey y’all! My name is Nikki and Andrea has been family to me for years.

Andrea had a fall at her previous residence on November 7th and as a result herniated her T11/T12 discs in the lower part of her spine. This caused numbness in her legs and at the time she was unaware of the damage the fall. The discs caused almost complete compression of the spine. She was treated for a tailbone injury with injections that only compounded the spinal injury. On March 4th she was sent to the hospital by ambulance and had spinal surgery on March 9th. She spent 55 days in the hospital and another 45 days in a rehabilitation center learning to walk and regaining function in her legs. Through all of this she has continued to smile and retained the Andrea Goody humor that we all know and love.

Andrea is home now however she has experienced some issues with short term disability that have left her with a gap in income. Healing from an injury this severe is challenging and no one should have to worry about keeping the lights on and belly full while recovering.

Andrea is always willing to help and would give you anything you needed if she could. She wouldn’t start a fund on her own, but I guess that’s why she has me :)

My goal with this fundraiser is to help alleviate the stress of having no income while Andrea recovers.
