Andrea fighting brain cancer

I never thought a day would come when I’d be creating one of these for my family, but it is time to put any pride aside & allow for generosity at this time.

My loving Mother Andrea, received the news that she has a brain tumor after an MRI on Saturday 12/30/23. She had emergency surgery a couple of days later on 1/2/24 at St. John’s Hospital in Santa Monica, CA. The wonderful surgeon was able to remove 80% of the tumor, however an artery is running through the remainder of it, leaving them unable to remove that portion. We are now facing glioblastoma, the most aggressive brain cancer.

The road ahead will be a long one of treatment, PT, and therapies, however we couldn’t be more grateful & uplifted by the outpouring of prayers, healing wishes, and love. My Sister and I are going to face this head (pun intended) on. I now understand why people make these things after a cancer diagnosis; the road is all consuming, with all energy & focus on caring for her & on any possible healing. Any donations will go to cancer therapies not covered by insurance and basic living expenses. I humbly appreciate any help to make this journey a little less stressful. “The Art of Allowing”… I’ve realized that there is a time to help, and also (simultaneously) a time to accept it.
