Andrea Fayne Bonds Cancer Fight Fund

Hello to all of our Family, Friends and Associates!


We have a very dear relative (daughter, sister, twin, cousin, aunt, friend), Andrea L. Bonds, who is in dire need of financial support. Months ago she was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. She has insurance but needs assistance covering her out of pockets expenses as she is currently unable to work since treatments. As a lot of us know, breast cancer is a very common and invasive cancer in women and the second leading cause of cancer death in women. We have created a GoFundMe to assist her in raising these funds. After reading her story below, we ask that you please share and give. The goal is $10,000-15,000 and ANY amount given will help. Andrea’s story:

I was diagnosed July 15, 2020 with HER2- ER+ PR+ breast cancer. After my diagnosis, I had several appointments that followed: MRI, Body scan, Port Placement and a second MRI to check out a lymph node. All glory to God, I am blessed to have caught it early, but I will not know my final stage until surgery.


In August 2020, I began IVF fertility preservation which was over $6500 (not covered by my insurance), and it was a very long process due to my cancer being hormone receptive. The first cycle did not go as planned due to me ovulating early. Therefore, I had to endure a second cycle of IVF which was a success.


I started chemo the very last week of September after getting my test results back and now waiting for a premed to settle in my system that my oncologist recommended. Prayerfully, I am scheduled to finish chemo sometime in March 2021. Then I will endure some type of surgery and possibly radiation.
