Andrea was diagnosed in September 2022 with a rare aggressive form of breast cancer. After her diagnosis, she underwent a bilateral mastectomy, chemo, radiation, and reconstructive surgery. In October 2024, a scan detected an area of concern in her lung. Her medical team at Roswell has continued to monitor this and have decided at this time they are recommending surgery to remove a portion of her lung. Depending on how much of the lung needs to be removed, she is expected to be out of work for at least 4 weeks. Andrea is a single mom. She waitresses part-time at Fran’s Landing and has been a daycare provider in our community for years. We are asking for your support to help Andrea and her family get through this difficult time.
