Andrea Bodnar Memorial
On January 31, 2021 Andrea Bodnar passed away. She was 84.
Although the Bodnar family resided in Lorain, they were active in the Amherst community, where Andrea’s children and grandchildren went to school. There was hardly a time when you didn’t see her on the sidelines of a sporting event cheering on the Amherst Comets.
Andrea had many passions. She was always reading - magazines, cookbooks, you name it! She enjoyed tending to her plants and gardening - they loved her back! She had a soft spot for all of Gods creatures - four legged fur babies, feathered friends and even spiders! She was even known for her sly card playing.
Andrea was extremely generous to all, even strangers. Once, a customer mentioned she didn’t have a place to sit in her apartment. Andrea immediately donated furniture to the young woman. She was just that kind of person who helped wherever and whenever she could. She was an amazing role model who led by her example.
Andrea’s kind spirit will not be forgotten. Her sparkle will live on, in our hearts and in all the beautiful memories.
Your donation will be used to ease the burden of end of life costs and the funeral arrangements. Hilary Bodnar will be the recipient and in charge of the money.
Thank you for keeping the Bodnar family in your prayers and for your donation.
