Hello Everyone!
As a parent there is no greater feeling than seeing your child succeed at what they love doing. For our son Andre that love is baseball. Andre has held a baseball from as far back as we can recall and began playing in a league at the age of three. Now eight Andre is very blessed to be surrounded by an incredible support system of family, friends, teammates and coaches that have provided him opportunities to play the game he loves at elite levels. For that we thank you all.
Today we are very proud to announce that Andre has been selected as a player for the Baseball Youth All-American Games that will take place January 1-4, 2015 at Historic Dodgertown – Vero Beach, Florida. He's been chosen from an outstanding group of elite baseball players and will compete and play with the best players his age from across the country. We could not be prouder of Andre for putting in all the hard work and dedication that goes along with the great honor of being called an All-American player.
Andre has had a challenging year. The end of 2013 and start of 2014 threw a few curveballs including the loss of close family members, his two dogs and having to move cross-country leaving his beloved Cubs baseball family. Through this time his focus and drive have kept him moving forward and persevering to reach his goals
To make this trip a reality we are asking for your financial support to make sure Andre gets to see this opportunity through. We are looking to offset the cost of travel, lodging and player expenses to make it all possible. Any amount helps and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts in advanced.
The following is a letter from Andre:

Dear Friends and Family,
I want to say thank you for always supporting me. I am happy that I was picked for the All-American team. I am happy because I will be playing in Florida. I want to make my family, friends, coaches and teammates proud. I thank the Salinas Valley Cubs, Central Coast Bombers, Atlantic Little League, West Raleigh Cubs and the Dirtbags for supporting me through a lot of baseball. I also want to thank my parents, sisters, grandparents, ninos, nina and also very important coaches Coach Graham, Jesse, Grandpa Joe and Coach Cesar for spending all their time to help me be successful. I will play hard for all of you that have supported me and continue to make you all proud.
Thank you,
Andre Medina
