I'm Susan, a friend of Andrè's for the past 15 years. I'm reaching out for help because Andrè, a disabled man who relies on his creativity to make a living, has been hit with not one, but two devastating setbacks.
Recently, Andrè was involved in a serious accident when a bus knocked him off his scooter, causing him to lose his mobility aids and livelihood. Although I was able to replace his crutches, he still desperately needs a new scooter to regain his independence.
To make matters worse, Hurricane Melissa has left Andrè without a home, table, tarpaulins, or any means to make a living on the beach. His home was destroyed in the hurricane, and he's been left with nothing.
As a vegetarian who already struggles to access nutritious food, Andrè is now facing a dire situation. Food prices in Jamaica are high, and Andrè's situation is becoming increasingly desperate.
While we can't save the entire country, we can make a difference in one person's life. Your contribution can help Andrè get back on his feet by providing:
- Shelter and essential supplies
- A paste table and tarpaulins to restart his business selling handmade beads and bracelets
- Food and nutrition to sustain him during this challenging time
Your support would mean the world to Andrè. Please consider donating and sharing this campaign with your network. Let's come together to help Andrè rebuild his life and regain his independence.
*Every contribution counts, and every share helps spread the word!*
