Last Monday, the 15thApril 2019, Andre was sadly taken from us. His death was unexpected and we continue to mourn this terrible loss. This is a page to raise money for the family of Andre Hofmann during this difficult time. The family asks that those who want or can, instead of sending flowers, donate something, and together make things a little easier for them. We hope that this campaign can help in someway by making the financial burden, a little less, by helping pay for the funeral costs.
The goal of this campaign is to raise 5000 Euros, which will be used to help pay for all the costs associated with Andre’s unexpected death. We hope that by raising this money we can reduce any unnecessary financial worry during this difficult time for the family. We are aware that nothing can reduce the pain and loss that the family are suffering during this time, but we hope that the money raised could at least make things a little easier and give Andre the funeral he deserves.
Over the past week, there have been hundreds and hundreds of messages from people all over the world who would like to express their condolences. Many people have suggested that they would like to help in some way, but they did not know how. So it was decided that due to the circumstances relating to Andre’s unexpected death, that anyone wishing to help could donate money to help the family during this difficult time.
I, Paul Jelley, created this campaign because I was a close friend of Andre. The beneficiary of this campaign is Rodrigo Gontijo Iacerda, his husband, and all the funds raised will go directly to his checking account to help with the payment of Andre's funeral.
