Hope you're healthy and strong as can be during these trying times.
As you may already know, due to Governor Newsom's attacks on small businesses, Andre Marquez and the 15th Round were forced to shut down their gyms and move out of Los Angeles. It has been extremely difficult, but we continue, hoping to make Andre "the Little Giant" Marquez a world champion. Currently living in Sioux Falls, Andre is scheduled to have the toughest fight of his career on Feb. 6, 2021 in Davenport, IA for the Mid American Belt! We need your love and support in making it happen.
Our opponent hasn't signed the contract (update and official soon) but has accepted the fight. He is a decorated and extremely talented veteran that won a National Golden Gloves belt as an amateur. As a pro he fought for the IBO Super Feather Title Eliminator, fought for the vacant IBA World Light Title, was a USBA (predecessor of IBF) Champion at Lightweight and a GBU champion as well. It's a big step up for us in level of competition, but we're ready.
Andre has no financial sponsors and his team has to cover all costs associated with the fight. It's been a real struggle relocating our life and business, trying to open the new gym and keep Andre fighting; maxing out the credit cards and temporarily driving for Uber only goes so far.
Your love and support are greatly needed at a critical point in Andre's career and greatly appreciated. We've moved far away, but know we're still in your thoughts and hearts as you are in ours.
