My name is Genevieve, I am Andre's daughter. I decided to attempt creating this fundraiser in hopes of helping my Mom and two brothers navigate the overwhelming emotional and financial challenges that have come with losing the anchor to their household.

At only the age of 48 which he just celebrated, Andre Fighera’s life was tragically cut short this past Sunday June 21st due to an unimaginable accident.

Our dad was a devoted husband, a proud father, and a loving grandfather who cherished his family above all else. He was deeply involved in each of his children's lives, always showing up, offering guidance, and leading by example.

Through his loyalty, consistency, and unwavering dedication, he taught us the value of hard work, integrity, and perseverance.

He was the backbone of our family. His strength and resilience never wavered, no matter what life placed in front of him. He was the person everyone turned to for support, advice, and reassurance. He had a remarkable ability to make even the toughest situations feel lighter and more manageable. His presence brought comfort, stability, and strength to everyone around him.

He lived life to the fullest and was always ready for a new adventure. He loved fishing, golfing, and spending time at the shooting range. Whether it was a spontaneous trip, a new hobby, or helping someone tackle a challenge, he always found a way to make it happen.

His presence could light up any room with his personality, kindness, and sense of humor, and he touched the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to know him.

The loss of Andre; our Dad, our Figs, our Papa, our Uncle, our Friend and Brother as he played so many roles to others, has left a hole in our hearts that can never be filled.

While we are trying to process this sudden change, my family is also facing the unexpected burdens that come with losing him so suddenly, as he was a bread winner for his family and supporting them was always his top priority.

I want to raise funds to help cover funeral expenses and to ease the financial strain on my Mom who is left in the household with their two boys, one of which is still a couple years out from graduating High School. Any donation, no matter the amount, will be deeply appreciated.
