*4th Annual Run to Remember Dan Haubert*
**Due to multiple fees, we will be changing the location of our fundraising efforts. More details to come! For now, keep running and supporting each other!**
Thank you to all who contributed to our cause last year! We surpassed our goal and awarded the first scholarship to a UD sophomore last fall.
Run #4 is just 8 months away: ROCK N ROLL DENVER!
A little more on the scholarship:
As many of you know, and for those who didn't have the pleasure of
getting to know him, Dan Haubert '06 was a wonderful friend, classmate,
son, brother and colleague. He had an electric personality that, whether
you knew him for five minutes or five years, inspired you and made you
laugh. At UD, Dan was extremely involved "” as a brother of Delta Sigma
Pi, marketing manager in the Davis Center for Portfolio Management, a
library clerk, co-founder of H-Fest, and perhaps most notably, as
someone who always had big ideas. Indeed, Dan put those ideas into
action, whether it was in his early beginnings of buying and selling
sports tickets while at UD, or in the more developed form of
TicketStumbler.com, his entrepreneurial start-up.
The Dan Haubert Memorial Scholarship will be awarded annually to a
dynamic finance or entrepreneurship major of need with a 3.0 GPA or
higher. The recipient(s) will be selected by Dan's family and the
University's financial aid office. The scholarship will be awarded once a
year, most likely in March, for the semester beginning the following
August.
