Help Andie obtain her DAFT Visa to stay in NL

Hallo!

I'm Andie Mercado and I'm raising money for my project, Miss Andie Mercado's DAFT Galerij. I was a NYC-based creative born and raised in San Francisco, CA. After visiting the Netherlands in October 2022, I made the big leap to move to Amsterdam.

I began my professional photography journey as a Content Creator for Donna Karan's brand, Urban Zen. Since then, I have been a freelance photographer in the US with an eye for capturing the complexities of art, architecture, and raw human emotion.

Since moving to Europe, it has been such an enlightening yet challenging experience; learning the culture and what the creative industry is like here.

So what is DAFT? America and Japan have a friendship treaty called the Dutch American Friendship Treaty (DAFT). This treaty allows each country's citizens to invest in their freelance careers while residing there. I am in the process of obtaining my DAFT visa and that's why I need your help with this project. I have to invest €4500 into the country in order to start my career here. The additional €1500 I am hoping to raise will cover costs for the fundraiser, Miss Andie Mercado's DAFT Galerij, that I will be throwing on June 15th along with equipment I need to take my business off in Europe.

For Miss Andie Mercado's DAFT Galerij, I am going to sell photography prints of mine and will contribute all purchases towards the DAFT investment. If you purchase a print, you will also receive a discount on my photography services and/or products in the nearby future.

Lastly, I wanted to thank my friends, family, and most of all my parents. There is no way I could have moved here without all of you. I am so blessed to have such great people in my life and hopefully with the connections I'll make here, I can pay the kindness forward all over Europe.
