Anderson's Medical Expenses

On Thursday, May 19, Alicia took her son Anderson for his 6 month well check. While he was being checked the doctor found a murmur, and he had respiratory distress. They were sent to have an X-Ray done. The doctor was concerned that his heart was enlarged. They were then directed to go to the Helen DeVos Children's Hospital, in Grand Rapids, MI, for further testing. Upon arriving doctors and nurses rushed Anderson up to the PICU. They did an echocardiogram and found his heart was pumping minimally. He was then put on a ventilator, had a central IV placed, feeding tube placed, and is heavily sedated. The doctors have told Alicia and Andrew that this is going to be a very long stay at the hospital, and a very long process. Please keep Anderson and his parents in your prayers. Thank you!
