Hello, my name is Amber Gutierrez, For those who do not know. Our friend Trevor and Carrie West's son, Andersen; has a Chiari Malformation. It is a condition in which brain tissue extends into the spinal canal. It occurs when part of the skull is misshapen or smaller than is typical, pressing on the brain and forcing it downward.

His family was just informed this past Tuesday, Valentine's Day that He is scheduled to have surgery on March 13th, 2023 at Stanford medical center. The unexpected scheduling of the procedure in March has made finances tight. Post-op surgery care requires them to remain on site for 5-7 days or longer depending on how he is recovering. This is on top of a pre-op and post-op appointment at Stanford.

The family is needing assistance in meeting the immediate expenses for the procedure to help heal their son. Please help this deserving family, give as you are able, as they prepare to meet their son's medical need.
