I'm Dejah Sandoval, bassist for Igor and the Red Elvises, and this fundraiser is for Igor Yuzov, lead singer and guitarist for the band.
Your favorite front man has been needing treatment for a hernia for a while now, but he's had to push back the surgery he so desperately needs because of complications with medical insurance, and the high cost of the surgery here in the U.S.
He tries not to let on, but he has been in constant pain for a long time. It has affected him in almost every way, but he always tries to put on a good show.
So, if you were wondering why the girls were loading the equipment after our shows, it's because he hasn't been able to lift anything heavy for the last couple of tours; even walking causes him a lot of pain.
Igor had to cancel a string of tour dates in Russia so he could make an appointment for the surgery in Thailand. It will be more affordable there, but he still cannot cover the costs on his own, so we are asking for your help with these costs!
Igor loves his fans and putting on great shows for them, and we are incredibly thankful to all who can help him keep the Red Elvises party going!
