On May 16th 2016 my best friend Patrick left this world unexpectedly due to an inflamed pancreas. I thought my life was over. As I thought of ending my life, there was a voice in my head that told me “It’s not your time”. The year following Patrick’s death was the worst year of my life.
“And Then We’ll Go Someplace Nice” is a tragic comedy dealing with loss, love, and depression. This one act play is not only a tribute to my soulmate, but a story that proves that love is stronger than depression.
The money raised for this show will go towards rehearsal space, paying actors, printing of scripts, playbills, and flyers, and all other aspects of performing a staged reading. Also I would like to donate %10 of every donation towards pancreatic cancer research.
This has become a passion project, because Patrick was MY passion. I would be so grateful for any donations that you could give. And I would like to give back to you as a thank you for your help.
