United by Nature, Not Divided by Frontiers!
Hello, I am Josef Sánchez, Librarian and Data Scientist, and the Founder of the Ancestrix project as part of the Worldwide Library Initiative, an evolving digital ecosystem dedicated to the preservation, education, and diffusion of contemporary, ancient, and social knowledge across all the world’s cultures with a world bioregional vision.

Developed and coordinated from Tulum, Mexico, this initiative is part of a larger effort under Bioregiones, which seeks to unite humanity through nature rather than division by frontiers. Its goal is to safeguard the world’s cultural and ecological memory by creating interconnected digital libraries.

About the Initiative

This Initiative brings together several foundational projects currently in progress, including:

• The Mayan Library, focused on the preservation of knowledge, language, and cultural traditions of the Maya bioregion.
• The Mexican Library, documenting the nation’s rich cultural, artistic, and ecological heritage.
• The Bioregional Library Network, connecting local archives across continents into a shared global repository.
• The Ancestral Library (Ancestrix), serving as the central digital archive for Indigenous manuscripts, oral histories, languages, and sacred art.

Together, these libraries form the Worldwide Library Initiative, a planetary framework for documenting, preserving, and disseminating ancestral and ecological wisdom. Each archive operates within its bioregional and cultural context, while remaining digitally connected through shared open-access standards and data protocols.

Mission and Vision

The mission of the Ancestrix as part of the Worldwide Library Initiative is to ensure that ancestral and Indigenous knowledge systems remain accessible, respected, and transmitted to future generations. This work recognizes that ancestral wisdom holds vital keys to ecological balance, cultural continuity, and sustainable human development.

The vision guiding this initiative is that of a planet united by nature, where education and cultural understanding transcend political borders. From Tulum, this vision expands through partnerships with communities, researchers, and elders who contribute their voices to a collective digital archive.

Objectives

The initiative focuses on five primary objectives:
1. Preservation and Digitalization of manuscripts, oral histories, and traditional art forms.
2. Protection of Endangered Languages and Indigenous Knowledge Systems.
3. Creation of Educational and Research Resources for students, educators, and cultural institutions.
4. Support of Indigenous-led Documentation and Research Projects to strengthen cultural autonomy.
5. Development of a Global Open-Access Infrastructure that interlinks regional libraries under a unified bioregional model.

Use of Funds

All donations go directly to me, Josef Sánchez, as the librarian and data scientist responsible for research, cataloging, digital preservation, and coordination of the regional and global archives.

Funds will be used to:

• Acquire and maintain digital preservation equipment and hosting infrastructure.
• Support the field documentation and digitization of ancestral archives in Mexico and Latin America.
• Develop the public access platform connecting the Mayan, Mexican, and Bioregional Libraries to the Worldwide Library Initiative.
• Facilitate collaborations with Indigenous councils, universities, and cultural organizations.

Why This Matters

Across the world, countless oral traditions, languages, and ecological teachings are being lost each year. These are not only records of the past but essential foundations for humanity’s collective future. By supporting this initiative, donors help ensure that ancestral wisdom is preserved, organized, and made available as a living educational resource for generations to come.

The Ancestrix Worldwide Library Initiative represents a new model for global knowledge preservation — one that respects diversity, honors Indigenous voices, and integrates technology with cultural stewardship.

About your support

Your support contributes directly to the creation of an enduring knowledge infrastructure — an open, bioregional, and intercultural library system that redefines how humanity understands its heritage.

This initiative is more than an archive; it is a commitment to the idea that education, culture, and nature are inseparable, and that by uniting our knowledge, we can build a more sustainable and interconnected world.
