Hi, my name is Noelle and I am asking for help for my Uncle Steven, Aunt Tanja and their little girls Caroline (3 years old) and Mia (1 year old). Around 18 months ago my Uncle Steven was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer. While this cancer has taken a lot from our family my Uncle still raises his daughters and partakes in as much as he can. He has always been a strong presence in mine and the rest of my families lives. Whenever anyone needed anything from him (especially car related, one of his many interests) he never batted an eye to go out of his way and help us. In turn, I want to do the same for him and show him how much of an impact he has made on all of our lives.

If anyone is unaware about the disease progression (as were many of us), pancreatic cancer is an extremely fast and aggressive type of cancer. My Uncle Steven has been fighting extremely hard for the past 18 months going back and forth for chemo and radiation treatments, he battles extreme pain, fatigue, nausea, weight loss and overall side effects of fighting cancer. He is one of the strongest people I know, along with his wife who is constantly by his side, overseeing his treatments and daily medical regimen all while taking care of their two young daughters and working a full time job. Currently my Uncle is being treated at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Hospital in New York City, as you can imagine the cost for my Aunt to be there by his side is great. Between taking the train, driving, and staying in hotels the money is adding up. While this is a considerable cost, nothing could stop her from being by his side every step of the way. While his battle is still on going, the financial burden is taking its toll. As members of their family we ask you to donate whatever you can to support this strong family against their fight with pancreatic cancer. We all want my Uncle Steven, Aunt Tanja, and their girls Caroline and Mia to focus on each other and not worry about the building financial burden of medical costs and travel expenses.
