Anayah's Trip 2 the Fringe Festival
Donation protected
Anayah was invited along with a few fellow dedicated Robbinsville HighSchool students to represent their community at the world's largest performing arts festival, the prestigious Fringe Festival in Edinburgh Scotland, this coming August. The transformative experience of producing a play and performing it for an international audiences, will forever change the lives of the teenagers committed to this project. Committed she is. I have personally obserbed her burn the midnight hours, dedicate all the aftershool time & week-ends to production prep, and yet amazinly maintain her GPA to a 4.00 making honor roll.
It is rare when a child immerses themselves into a "calling" or a passion, and as a lover of the Arts, this couldn't bring me more joy that Anayah disovered a love for Drama, it's production and has shown excellence as a very young sophmore stage manager. Furthermore, she was just inducted into the International Thespian Society as an Honor Thespian.
The opportunity for Anayah to join her drama group at the Fringe Festival will present itself for her only this one time, as Robbinsville High-School participates only every three years in that Festival. Although funds were raised through the scholl foundation to cover operating costs, a lot of the travel costs must be probided by the participant or all of her supporters.
Which brings me to this moment, as we fall short of meeting a dead-line of July 1rst to raise for Anayah an additional $4,400 that will cover a part of all her travel expenses abroad for 3 weeks in London and Edinburgh.
I urge you to show your support, and prove to this young lady that we as a community support the arts, and look forward to seeing her receiving more awards, and why not on the national scale :-) A dream starts with this little grain, and she sure has shown her talent, perseverance, enthusiasm and absolute optimism in the craft and her community as a whole.
With a little bit from many, we can accomplish so much.
