Anatta Village: A Vision Rooted in Devotion, Truth, and the Next Generation…

A Fusion of Fruit, Family, Fire & Stillness …

My name is Ålam. I’m passionate about holding people through deep transformation, and I’m a soon-to-be father.

This GoFundMe began as a simple seed: a dream to create a community devoted to remembering The Path.

But that seed has been transformed by love.. by the land, by the feminine, and most of all by the devotion and fire of the woman stewarding this land that life has brought me to…her name is Zoey.

This is her vision:

To buy and protect as much land as possible and reforest it with fruit trees.

To build beautiful, sustainable structures like AirCrete domes where families can truly live a natural life of freedom.

To create a real village.. not just a place to retreat to, but a tribal way of life, rooted in community, collaboration, and freedom.

A place where children are not expected to perform or conform, but instead are raised in the village itself, without pressure, just play... where learning happens through the playing, the planting, building, preserving, dancing, creating, and being.

Where “school” is not a box, but a forest. A tribe. A life.

Where We’re At Now:

This is not a dream in theory.. it is already alive.

Zoey is the mother of six children, a sacred birth keeper, supporting women through sovereign, wild, ecstatic birth.

There is already a growing network of families in the area raising their children outside of the system. She has created a self-directed education space, planted a fruit forest and built a guest house…with plans to create more to be able to gather the tribe.

She is devoted to integrative nature based education. Free schooling, natural learning, and the embodied wisdom of how to do this is already happening.

The intentions now are to build more sustainable housing, expand the fruit forest, create more natural learning environments, develop community gardens, and build a temple of deep healing.

We feel called to share what’s already here and expand the field of support for those ready to join this way of living.

Location wise we are in an abundant valley of Caribbean Costa Rica, a short drive from the magnificent beaches of Puerto Viejo. We have beautiful creeks and rivers running through the property, and spring waters to drink from. We are really so blessed to live here.

The Playground Comes First

Our first fundraising goal is to build a natural playground..

A safe, creative, nature-rooted space for the children of this valley.

Local and expat. Spanish and English speaking. For all the children of our valley.

A place for joy, connection, movement, and play..

Because our vision is devoted to the children.

The Long-Term Vision: A Village Rooted in Fruit Forests, Family, Natural Learning & Sacred Spaces

The next part of Zoey’s dream for the land is to build a Temple…a place of stillness, silence, and deep retreat. Open to the community.

A sacred space for all those who feel called to the path of awakening.

Where one can sit, pray, chant and return to the breath.

Supported by the simplicity of simple fruit and living food.

Rooted in meditation, devotion, and nature.

The temple is not separate from the village.. it is its heart.

Just as the laughter of the children is its breath.

One nourishes the spirit, the other nourishes the soul.

Together, they form Anatta Village.

What’s to Come: A Living Village

We envision this space unfolding in natural layers..

• A fruit forest, rewilding the land and feeding the community

• Communal spaces for eating, cooking, and creating

• AirCrete domes for families, for solitude, for gathering, for free birthing.

• A classroom built into the rhythm of the land

• A stage for music, storytelling, and celebration

• Accommodations for guests, seekers, families, and elders

• The Temple: a place of silence, devotion, and rebirth
