1. I'm Richard J. Szrabe, a retired barrister (Middle Temple 1982-2009; ad eundem Lincoln's Inn; I retired in good standing 2009; in 2011 I changed my surname from Astor to Szrabe). You can see my photo and a summary of my background and foreground here.

2. This socially important project — described in detail at Anatexis Media https://www.anatexis.media — involves my personally writing and publishing a set of six books, and producing accompanying multimedia, events etc., on the fundamental human rights discussed in paragraph 8 below. Everything should be ready in the summer / fall of 2026.

3. When the project has been launched and is thriving, I envisage setting up, in parallel with Anatexis Media, a charitable foundation to spread the word about my work and directly help people.

4. All project products are intended for the general reader with no legal training as well as for the legal and technical professional, novice and senior alike: lay consumers of law services, testators and heirs, executors, administrators, lawyers, accountants, auditors, police, prosecutors, regulators, legislators, etc. In style, very user-friendly, instantly intelligible, intellectually stimulating and morally invigorating.

5. In content and intent, all project products are socially conscious, whistleblowing, culture-shifting and game-changing. Anyone can collaborate with me on content. The project as a whole and its various elements have an irresistible social momentum and message. Locally and globally, the books and associated multimedia and events have the power to generate genuine social change on key issues.

6. This gofundme invites you to help fund the project. Funds raised will be used to write, print, publish, produce, promote and sustain the books, ebooks and associated extras. 7. However small your intended or actual donation, I'm happy to explain the project to you personally and answer any questions you may have. I hope we'll have an interesting discussion. 8. The project takes a long-overdue barristerial sledgehammer to four basic, universally violated human rights:-

(1) FIRST RIGHT: the right to not be defrauded by any lawyer, however clever, affable, eminent etc. This is dealt with by two books described below: Lawyer Rackets and Get A Grip;

(2) SECOND RIGHT: the right to receive one's inheritance in full without any lawyer, heir or administrator stealing, pillaging, sabotaging or interfering with any of it. This is dealt with by two books described below: Inheritance Crime and Accounting and Auditing in Inheritance Crime;

(3) THIRD RIGHT: the right to investigate, expose, denounce and pursue any lawyer criminal, any inheritance criminal and anyone else who tries to suppress my freedom of speech, and — FOURTH RIGHT — the right to exercise that freedom of speech. This is dealt with by Defamation War Room, described below.

9. This project is of a thoroughly thought-through integrated piece with other things I've done and am doing:-

(1) specialist books I wrote and successfully self-published in my law career: see para 14 below;

(2) I run a small consulting firm dedicated to helping real people with their daily problems, usually for free: https://www.MrRigorous.pro. It provides regular folk with a sounding board, advice, assistance etc. on things that worry them. It's an important way for a retired lawyer to 'give back' to the community. It particularly targets victimisation and other misconduct by lawyers, insurance companies, inheritance participants and bad banks;

(3) I run a consulting firm dedicated to rooting out and criminalising inheritance crime for heirs and law enforcement. Its website has a mass of detail about the subject and how I deal with it.

10. The project involves self-publishing but is not vanity publishing. These are serious professional products intended for serious use in serious situations. The project has to stand on its own feet on its own merits, and acquire a genuine public.

11. Here are the six books' full titles — each has its own webpage:-

(1) CRIMINAL LAW COMPANION : a summary of white-collar and stiff-collar criminal law;

(2) LAWYER RACKETS—HOW YOUR OWN CROOKED LAWYER WILL SCREW YOU IF HE CAN — grim whistleblowing tales from my own archive. The first comprehensive whistleblowing book by a retired lawyer, apparently;

(3) GET A GRIP—A PRIMER ON CUSTOMER-LAWYER INTERACTION — how to conduct a fruitful relationship and not get shafted by your own lawyer. The first detailed how-to guide for both sides;

(4) INHERITANCE CRIME—A MANUAL FOR HEIRS AND LAW ENFORCEMENT — a multi-billion-dollar criminal industry gets its first textbook;

(5) ACCOUNTING AND AUDITING IN INHERITANCE CRIME — criminal financial statements and the folk who prepare them are the cornerstone of inheritance crime. The first textbook on the subject;

(6) DEFAMATION WAR ROOM — a popular + technical manual on how to stand your ground against threats to free speech. It promotes the unhindered, uninhibited, righteous exercise of free speech. Very relevant these days.

12. Why bother? Because billions of currency units are lost daily both to lawyer criminals and inheritance criminals (the two are often connected). And because there's a culture of victimhood: victims who might otherwise vociferously denounce and pursue lawyer criminality and inheritance criminality are intimidated into silence and inaction by the villains routinly threatening defamation litigation if lawfully exposed. (And of course a policeman with no knowledge of relevant civil law and no knowledge of the case will volunteer his irrefutable professional opinion, "It's a civil matter." How convenient.) All that has to stop.

13. Multimedia and other extras for the books include podcasts, webinars, enewsletter, events, videos, engagement, databases amd online communities, described here. I'm especially excited by this project's forthcoming events. The scandalous absence of any culture of regular folk mingling with each other and with appropriate relevant professionals on technical subjects contributes to victim isolation, facilitates mystification, and promotes and protects dysfunction:-

(1) on lawyer crime: imagine victims mingling with each other and with regulators, judges, police, prosecutors, journalists, real-deal lawyers, etc.;

(2) on inheritance crime: imagine testators, heirs, executors, administrators, police, prosecutors, lawyers, etc. mingling similarly;

(3) on righteous defamation litigation and other ways to express and defend free speech: we could have some real action here. Imagine righteous activists interacting vigorously with each other to talk about free speech generalities and specifics, and hanging with human rights lawyers, judges, journalists, investigators, detectives, defamation experts etc.

14. I have a respectable self-publishing track record. When in practice (latterly at 13 Old Square Chambers, Lincoln's Inn, London), I specialised in (among other things) law and practice relating to the insurance and reinsurance enterprise Lloyd's of London, on which I wrote and successfully self-published technical books for lawyers. You can download two of those books for free from archive.org here (and download here an ebook of collected articles I wrote on the subject in various professional periodicals). One of those books was particularly effective in helping certain American policyholders go after Lloyd's to the tune of billions of dollars. The book — Astor's Equitas Re Handbook — was morally and socially conscious, rather like all the six books in the present project.
