My dad is from Mexico to find a better life and had to drop out of school to get a job to help his family as the only son of 6 children. Although he had a rough childhood back in Mexico he had never laid finger on us even though sometimes we felt like we deserved it. Even before we were born, he would work hard to bring money to the table. He would give us the childhood he didn't get as a kid like almost every parent would, even when he didn't have enough have money he would get us whatever we wanted. You can say we were spoiled but he would still teach us about working hard to get the things we wanted. After 5-6 years he had to work 2x harder to provide for us since my mom chose a different path, it was difficult at first, but we got through it as a family. Later this year my dad had gotten sick from different things, first was a toothache infection in March and received antibiotics after that he got better. Then, in April he had gallstones in his gallbladder and had them taken out. After that, in July he got diagnosed with advanced stage liver cancer. He didn't get the chance to start his treatment since he also got diagnosed with Chronic hepatitis C and Hepatocellular carcinoma. He sadly passed away on 10/12/2025 leaving us, me (21), my sister(23) and my little brother(14).
