I am Anas Bassam, and I have two children: Bassam, eight years old, who has special needs, and Tamer, five years old. We were living happily in northern Gaza, until this damned war came. As a result, our house was destroyed and we were displaced to central Gaza, to the Nuseirat camp in a school. Months after our displacement, the place we were displaced to was subjected to violent shelling. We escaped death again, and death passed us by many times amidst the fear of children and civilian victims, until we reached the city of Rafah with difficulty. Only a few months passed until the occupation attacked Rafah as well. We couldn't flee to anywhere, as there was no safe place left for us. We were displaced again to Khan Yunis, to a tent we live in, and now we have returned to northern Gaza and are trying to escape death to any safe place
