Ana’s Fight Against Multiple Sclerosis

As many of you may know, my best friend, Anatalia Parillo has recently been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. There is no cure for Multiple Sclerosis. She will deal with flare ups for the rest of her life which can include vision loss, immobility, and other loss of motor functions ranging from mild to severe. We are taking all the correct steps to ensure that this disease does not alter her quality of life in the long run. 

She was hospitalized on December 14th, just before Christmas and it has been a roller coaster ever since. With her new diagnosis she has had to take time out of work and reevaluate her future and her next steps in order to prevent any chances of disability.

Ana is being treated as a high risk patient due to her susceptibility to vision loss. This has been a shock to us all and we are now beginning our new journey which will include strong monthly chemotherapy, tight monitoring to ensure her body does not reject her strong medications, physical therapy, occupational therapy, etc.   

I have created this go fund me to kindly help her family during this hard time. Ana has been out of work for some time now and now has to deal with the financial burden of a large variety of medical bills/medications.
