Hi, my name is Ana and I'm 39 years old. I was diagnosed with Lyme Disease this year (2016) in February after going undiagnosed for almost 3 years. This disease has left me almost bed ridden since I started treatment. I'm currently not working since the time I was diagnosed and I have no idea how soon I'll be able to go back to work. This disease is not being covered by insurance and I have to pay out of pocket for every single treatment and doctor appointment. Lyme treatment is very expensive and it's mentally and physically draining me. Each week I have to get an IV treatment that will help boost my immune system. I also have to take numerous amounts of daily supplements that are costly and thymus supplements that will also help me fight this disease. In addition to the IV's and supplements I have to do blood ozone treatments to help purify my blood which are very costly running at ($250) per treatments. I have faith that I will get better some day so I can resume having a normal life some day and feel normal as well. My dream is to be able to go back to work and be happy.
