Ana’s Battle with Cancer
My beautiful sister in law is currently battling the dreaded fight with cancer. When we first heard the news that she had colon cancer about 18 months ago we thought to ourselves we’ve got this, she’s got this. She’s a fighter and one of the strongest people I know. The last few months have really taken a toll on her body. She has been through rounds of chemo therapy, radiation, and surgery after surgery and still managed to take care of her 8 year old daughter. However, the cancer has spread through out her young body and has landed her in the hospital more times than I can count. Her family and beautiful daughter have worried day and night wether or not she was going to pull through. She has never ceased to amaze us all with her strength and spirit. She continues to joke and find the humor in life regardless of the pain that she feels. She finds the strength for her young daughter who is not to sure of what is really going on, she finds the strength for her mom who is not ready to loose her daughter. So here I am coming to you all to ask for a little help. No one is ready for the day to come but with all the hospital visits and the trips back and forth to New York, it has taken a financial toll on my husbands family. Ana is only 30 years old and will fight until there is no more fight left. The money that is raised will help pay for the medical bills that has accrued, help with the care of her young daughter Amber and any other future arrangements that the family will need to make.
