Calling all Anaplanners!!!!
We're kicking off our first ever Global Service Project and we need your help!
What: We're adopting a school!
Where: The Paso Tempisque School in Guanacaste, Costa Rica
Why: Guanacaste is a coastal province in northwestern Costa Rica where 34.5% of the population live in poverty, a contrast to 16.3 percent in the Central region. At Paso Tempisque there are over 100 students taught in just 3 classrooms with only 2 working restrooms, very few windows and a ceiling fan in poor working condition and most days surpass 85 degrees. The playground is unusable and the building is in desperate need of repair.
How: Our goal is to raise $5,000 through our Fun Run/Walk/Yoga event at Unleash'16 so that we'll be able to bring in skilled workers to do the hard labor tasks, like repairing the old electrical, changing/replacing ceiling, buying and installing working fans and helping to beautify the school.
YOU can help by signing up to participate in our Jumpstart run, walk or yoga event and making a suggested donation of $5 or more. If everyone in the company donates $10 we'll surpass our goal!
$10 donation helps provide plants for the playground
$25 donation will spruce up classroooms with a fresh coat of paint
$50 donation supports the replacement of outdated electrical
$100 donation helps replace outdated ceiling fans
The BEST part: During President’s Club in March 2016, Anaplanners will help give back and add a fresh coat of paint and help landscape the playground. We will be able to see firsthand the difference our contributions will make in Costa Rica!
