Ananda Montessori Expansion
Donation protected

Dear Friends and Family,
I want to sincerely thank each of you who have given donations of your time and money in this continuing campaign towards my program expansion! We have been working hard, sometimes way into the night, preparing the environment for our young friends.
We are still moving towards our goal, and this is a busy time yet, of building and preparing our environment for the community. Every donation, in any form is appreciated.
We have completed everything by our hands, and through your generosity will continue this work. We have not relied on any loans or credit cards throughout this entire process, and your donations have, and continue, to help sustain us.
One our of recent big steps, if you look at the following photos. was to install flooring in our back classroom, and complete painting that room. We are so close to our Grand Opening coming up this Saturday, September 23rd from 10 am to 4 pm!
Go to recent Updates to see photos taken just today in the new space, and although it looks complete, there is still work to be done.
If you have been following our story and considered making a donation, please know that all money goes directly into Montessori materials, classroom renovation, and all supplies.

Completed Maple Flooring....through your donations and the hard work of Bob, Pamela, David, Molly, and Tommy!
Now, a bit about me.....
I have been working with young children and families as a Montessori teacher since 1984. For twenty years, I served as both Head of School and Montessori Guide for ages 3 - 6, Lower Elementary, and Upper Elementary classrooms, mentored teachers, and facilitated monthly parent education groups and parenting workshops.
In March, 2014, I decided to create my own program, Ananda Montessori, fulfilling my dream to bring what I know and do to the community that I have lived in for nearly 30 years. My intention and mission is to offer services which support parents and children from the beginning: during pregnancy, birth, and through age five. As a Montessori parent, I experienced the benefits of guidance by an experienced Montessori educator as I raised my own children. and I feel this support is essential to experiencing Montessori as an aid to life in the family.
During our Montessori Playgroups, I provide personal guidance to the Parents/Caregivers who attend with their child; in Parent-Infant (birth to walking), Parent-Toddler (walking to age three), or Parent-Preschooler (ages 3 - 5). sessions running for a series of 8 weeks. This program is the first of its kind in northwest Pennsylvania and southwest New York! I am also a Certified Positive Discipline Parent Eductor, and offer groups and workshops to support parents of children from birth through teens!
