Corazón de Vida is a wonderful organization that sponsors 10 casa hogares (orphanages) in the Tijuana area.  For $100/month we are able to send a child to college and pay his/her living expenses.  Amazing!

This year we will be sponsoring Ana Morales, a 23 year old psychology student.  

From Dan, our annual coordinator for our trip and a volunteer:

I am beyond thrilled to introduce you to   Ana Morales.  Ana  is in her third year of psychology at the Autonomous University of Baja California ( UABC) en Ensenada.   Since age 11, she grew up in orphanage called Door of Faith, where our founder Hilda grew up and is a delightful young lady.  She had a rough start in life but has been thriving.  
Ana has a part time job cleaning a house and working in an office.   Ana has no sponsor from Corazon de Vida - we pay her expenses for our general Education Fund.  If Pura Buena Onda sponsors her for $100.00 a month - 100% of that money will go to Ana each month and you will be her official sponsor.  As her sponsor - PBO would receive updates from Ana - we would send you her grades and I know she would LOVE to come to San Diego for a visit anytime she is invited.   She has her visa for entry into the U.S..  I told her about a school sponsoring her and she would love to meet you on the upcoming trip.   Many, but not all of our students have sponsors and all of them love to have someone who is focused on them.  Ana was not quite sure what it meant to have a school ( as opposed to a person) be her sponsor but I told her it meant she gets to know lots of people - not just one person.     Everyone would be invited to her graduation - which God willing, will be in two years.
