ANAKIN IS A WARRIOR.
Anakin is 9 years old. Anakin is the son of Eric and Krystal who are close friends of mine. The Schumann family is an amazing and strong family.
A few weeks ago Krystal and Eric started to notice their little Jedi wasn’t being his complete upbeat self and wondered why. Anakin started to come home not feeling well. He was being bullied at school so initially they thought he was was feeling sick because of that. He seemed to be getting better after they talked to his teacher and the bullying stopped. Then Anakin would occasionally complain about headaches and other stuff that was on and along with paleness. This Sunday he wasn’t feeling well again, and felt dizzy. Krystal and Eric bought him Gatorade and he seemed to be better. Anakin was still a little pale on Tuesday afternoon so Eric and Krystal thought he might be Anemic due to his symptoms. Krystal made an appointment for him Wednesday afternoon and they sent him for blood work. The blood work came back with 3.6 hemoglobin (really low) and a white blood count of 167,000. They told Krystal and Eric that he would need to be taken to Children’s Hospital for further testing.
Anakin has been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia- A.L.L.

Although we don't want Anakin to have to go through this and are crushed by the news, we choose to believe in miracles and have faith in God's ability to heal.
Anakin is admitted to the hospital where he will start receiving treatments of chemotherapy and other tests. Every donation will help to relieve the financial burden of these treatments. Please donate to financially support Anakin and his family at this difficult time as he battles leukemia!
