Dear Friends and Family,
We hope you are having a good day. We finally decided to create a go fund me page for our daughter Anakarla. As many of you know she was diagnosed with Systemic Scleroderma when she was 15 years old. Since then she has done numerous kinds of treatment and nothing has helped with her condition. Recently we came back from Chicago where they are doing a treatment in Norwesterm Memorial Hospital called Analogous Stem Cell Transplants. They have found tremendous results in patients like her and she is a good candidate for it. We need to stay for three months there and need to get a place to stay near by the Hospital because the treatment is done in different steps (we will be happy to answer any questions you may have). My husband and I won’t be working for that period of time since she needs assistance.
Our insurance won’t pay for the treatment because they said is an experimental trial and is not approved by FDA. We have known so many Scleroderma patients that has regained their quality life back. So we will continue this journey until Anakarla can have her treatment.
