Hello my name is Dylan Lobo, on behalf of my niece Anaiya Dcosta we have launched this campaign to enable international currency donations to support Anaiya's education . This is her story that I believe deserves to be heard and supported , She is the most deserving person I know .

Hi, my name is Anaiya Dcosta. I’m 18 years old, born and raised in Mumbai.

I grew up in a modest middle-class home, homeschooled, singing and dancing to Broadway musicals since I was 8 years old. After watching the film Leap!, I remember promising myself that one day I would become a ballerina and dance on the world’s biggest stages.

That childhood dream turned into 10 years of disciplined training, performances, and sacrifices. I've had the opportunity to dance on India's biggest stages including Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center, NMACC and National Centre of Performing Arts , NCPA .

Today, that dream feels closer than ever.

I have been accepted into The Ailey School in New York, one of the world’s most prestigious dance institutions and the training ground of the legendary Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.

However, pursuing professional dance training internationally is financially challenging for my family. I come from a family of five, and the annual cost of one year at The Ailey School is almost equal to my family’s yearly income. As the eldest of three siblings, I cannot allow my ambition to compromise my parent's lifetime saving's or my sibling's futures.
