Hi, my name is Anaiah! I have the opportunity to serve on a mission trip to Tonga this upcoming November! While in Tonga, the main project we will be assisting in, is rebuilding the home for the pastor of the Adventist church in Faleloa, Ha’apai that was unfortunately destroyed in a cyclone back in 2018. We will also have the opportunity to be able to visit the surrounding churches, connecting and worshipping with the local community members! I would love to go on this mission trip because I believe this is a great opportunity that I have been praying for; an opportunity to serve others in a meaningful way while deepening my faith. I'm eager to step outside of my comfort zone and contribute to something bigger than myself—whether that's through hands-on service, sharing hope, or simply being present and listening. I am excited to learn from a new culture, grow in compassion, and be a part of building genuine connections. This trip isn't just about what I can give, but also what I can learn, and how I can come back changed—more grateful, more grounded, and more committed to living a life that reflects love and purpose.
