In Decatur, TX on February 27, 2020, 18 year old Anahi Torres was victimized by two police officers and wrongly charged of two charges when she was completely innocent. While sitting in her car with her dog at a local park, 2 police officers arrived, one of which hadn’t even completed police training, and wrongly claimed she was drunk. Anahi offered to take a breathalyzer and allowed the police to search her vehicle, but they declined and instead demanded she exit her car. After refusing to get out of the car, as Anahi was completely sober and did nothing wrong, another officer showed up and two of them opened her car door and forcibly dragged the small, 18 year old girl out into the parking lot. She flinched, as one does when being grabbed, and was body slammed onto the cement by both police officers, leaving many bruises. Anahi was then wrongly convicted of her FIRST offenses, two felonies for resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer. Not only is this a disgusting example of unnecessary police force, but violent, unjust racial profiling. Anahi is in need of help to pay for legal fees. Please donate to the gofundme and share! Justice for Anahi Torres against an abusive, racist system!
