Anah Christine Fraser

Anah Christine Fraser (age 19) , Daughter of Anah Marie Fraser was diagnosed on August 27th with a PUTITARY TUMOR called Craniopharyngioma. She has since lost all vision in her left eye and has 40% vision in her right eye. This tumor has also affected her mobility. Due to the aggressive nature and loss of vision surgery will be on Sept. 30th 8am @ Manatee Memorial Hospital under the careful care of Dr. Huan Wang and his surgery team. The family is asking first and foremost for prayer on Anah Christine, as she goes into this delicate and long surgery. There are many unknowns the day of surgery and the difficult recovery in the weeks to follow. Our prayer is for the wisdom and careful steady hand on each Doctor and nurse that will touch this precious young lady. She has gone through much stress and pain already in the last several weeks, but she is a fighter and one of the strongest, bravest, and tender-hearted people you’d ever be lucky enough to meet.

The many expenses and long road to recovery with many specialized physicians will be financially challenging. Anah’s mother has insurance but the deductibles and uncovered expenses will be substantial. Anah lives with her single mother and two sisters. Her mother is the sole supporter of these three girls and will need to take a leave of absence from work after the surgery to care for Anah in her weeks of recovery.
