Anabell Vasquez: A Loving Mother & Grandmother

Hi, Unfortunately, our loving mother is passing away and we’re fundraising for our mother, Anabell Vasquez, for her memorial and funeral costs.

Our family unexpectedly had a drastic turn into her reaching the end of life phase. She was fighting stage 4 pancreatic cancer that went also into the liver. She was diagnosed late October and we did our best for her such as taking her to her medical appointments, chemo treatments, and follow up with Radiology for her scans. Before this cancer, she’s lived a long life working hard 12-14 hour shifts and always praying for strength from her day to day.

The best way to remember our mom is she had a distinct laugh, always making jokes, and she loved her grandchildren so much down to her core. That was one of her reasons to live. She was a woman who was set in her ways and knew what she wanted out of life as a strong independent woman raising us 3 kids the best she could. She loved walking by the lakes, her country of birth Nicaragua, and she loved her crime shows on her downtime.

She is a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and a friend to all who have known her because she has a big heart. Her upbringing was of a holy background and being a humble person to all she knew. Her doors were always open to those who needed a place to live even if it was just a night to figure things out. She was everyone’s Mom to all who knew her well, helping the next person with no intentions of asking for anything in return. She was very devout in her religion and believed in the power of a prayer and her faith as a healer to all who needed it. As a sister, she cared always for her siblings and provided them comfort in life’s challenges that come day to day. In essence, an Angel on this Earth.

As a family, we ask to please help us cover funeral costs. It will go to burial, memorial service, a church service and transportation from Orlando to Miami. She will be laid to rest in Our Lady of Mercy where her mother and our young nephew passed.
