Hello Everyone, my name is Liz Huckestein and my friend Ana Raab is in need of support and help.

Her car was totaled on May 18. She did not have car insurance couldn't afford it.

Her most pressing needs are 1. Housing 2. A vehicle 3. Childcare 4. A family lawyer

to help her with filing paternity so that she can claim social security death benefits for her youngest child that was born after Dad died.

I met Ana at my church (Unity Church of the Hills) a few months ago. I was drawn to her immediately and her 2 beautiful daughters. In the course of the months that followed I found out she was a widow. Her partner was killed in a car accident by a drunk driver in January 2022 when she was pregnant with their second child. That baby turned 9 months old on May 22. She has been raising the girls on her own with no help and very little money. She was in subsidized housing, and they made her vacate in February 2022 because she wasn’t working. She was unable to work because she had just given birth and had no one to help with the girls.

Ana was ready to start working, hoping to get the girls into Head Start. Then her car was wrecked by another drunk driver on May 18! Fortunately, she and the girls were not in it at the time of the accident. Turns out the driver of the car that hit her does not have car insurance either.

My heart goes out to her. Her oldest is a very lively 2 year old she makes it quite difficult for her to work from “home”. Her profession is in apartment locating and she is licensed and wants to eventually open her own business. It’s a demanding job that she’s been struggling to start because of how active her kids are.

Ana is a wonderful Mother, really loves her girls and wants to provide for them.
