I am writing this as a friend who is devastated by the tragic loss of Ana Patrice Scott on September 20, 2025. She was an incredible friend, had a fantastic sense of humor, and her laugh was contagious. She was a wonderful person. The kind of person that animals love and trust instantly, which in my opinion, is the highest form. She is not someone who can ever be replaced, but we take some solace in knowing she is at peace.

Funds are being raised on behalf of Ana and her family in order to help with service arrangements, which will be announced in the coming days as the family navigates this difficult time.
