Ana Orozco was born in San Miguel el Alto, Jalisco Mexico on July 26, 1954. Ana was an exceptionally and admirable mother, wife, sister, grandma and friend. Ana leaves a legacy full of happiness, courage, and kindness to her husband, 4 sons, 2 daughters, 5 granddaughters, and 1 grandson. Our heart is broken because we are all missing you!!!

Ana came to the United States on January 15, 1998. Here she began a new journey along with her husband and although they went through many difficulties, they brought their sons and daughters to have better opportunities. She was the counsel of the family and with her charisma, kindness, sensitivity she showed all of us, we all learned to loved her. We all wanted to keep continuing conversing with you because you would enchant us with your charisma, and you would inspire us devotion. Her clear, straightforward conversations were the most thought-provoking fascinating conversations of all. There was no sufficient time in this world to continue having conversations with her. She was frank and didn’t beat around the bush. If you wanted truthful honest advice, she would let you know. Her wisdom, teachings and advice is what we take from Ana.

Ana loved to maintained her garden everyday, full of rose bushes. Her favorite colors were blush pink, white, yellow canary and red roses. She loved to put mudclay pots with gladiolus bulbs, lilacs and begonias. She also loved to have snapdragon plants or “Perritos” how she like to called them. She also had Fern in her garden and around the house. She loved to plant Chili seeds, her favorite being Serrano, Habanero, Jalapeno and Numex chili. Her salsas were better than those sold in restaurants. There was no comparison to her food and her cooking standards were high. She would make friends with everyone. Her favorite artist was Vicente Fernandez or how she like to call him Chente. She loved Ranchera music such as las Jilgerillas, Los Tigres del Norte, Los Alegres de Teran y las Hermanas Huerta. A moder group she loved was Sin Bandera. Her memory and her being will always be with us. Everyone that knew my beloved mother will take with them her more valuable memories, her wise advices, her good sense of humor, her teachings and her double meaning that put a laugh on the most serious person. My mom had relatives and friends from San Miguel El Alto Jalisco, Guadalajara, Alabama, Chicago, Oregon, Oxnard, Oregon, San Jose y Arizona. Now she is watching us from Heaven and from there she will continue to provide us with her wisdom and scolding at us until we get it together. Heaven urgently needed a counselor and it was my mom’s turn to fill that position. We love you with all our hearts, spirit and being, please take care us from Heaven. And like she used to say “There I go and there I leave them the most alive of the not too savvy.” Although we know the meaning of this phrase, we know mom that you love to joke. We are going to miss you so very much, we will NEVER FORGET YOU!

Although her pathway in this world was not easy and her illness sometimes will overthrow her, Ana was a fighter that fought until the end. With her patience and wisdom she knew how to hide her pain. Lamentably, her weak heart stop beating on Wednesday January 10, 2024. She stop suffering, although we all feel the impotence and feel sad for her unexpected departure, we all want to not say goodbye but see you later Mom. There are not enough words to continue describing how she really was and there is not enough time and space to do so in this world. She left an empty hole in our lives. We will always love you so much! We loved you yesterday, today, tomorrow and always. You will be forever dearly close to our hearts. We don’t say goodbye to you, but until we see you later. We will carry you close to us, your husband, sons, daughters, grandchildren, relatives and friends.
