Fue la dueña de una panadería exitosa en El Salvador, pero su éxito atrajo a pandilleros que le exigían extorsiones. Un día, al no poder pagar, ellos asesinaron a su hijo Luisito, de solo 10 años. Su alma se quebró para siempre.

Buscando seguridad, Ana huyó con su familia a México, donde reconstruyó una vida sencilla y digna. Allí vivía en paz, hasta que hace ocho años le diagnosticaron un cáncer agresivo. Decidida a buscar un mejor tratamiento, inmigró a los Estados Unidos, donde enfrentó su enfermedad sin familiares cercanos, pero con una sonrisa constante y el alma firme.

Vendía sus deliciosos panes caseros para costear el taxi desde Tooele hasta Murray, donde recibía atención médica. Incluso en etapa 4 de cáncer, limpiaba casas para cubrir sus necesidades básicas. Nunca se quejó. Nunca se rindió. Siguió luchando hasta su último respiro.

Ana—a faithful wife, brave mother, resilient immigrant, and warrior of God—lived a life marked by painful challenges and unshakable hope. She owned a successful bakery in El Salvador, but her success attracted gang members who demanded extortion payments. One day, when she could no longer pay, they murdered her 10-year-old son, Luisito. Her soul was forever broken.

Seeking safety, Ana fled with her family to Mexico, where she rebuilt a simple and dignified life. She lived there in peace until eight years ago, when she was diagnosed with aggressive cancer. Determined to seek better treatment, she immigrated to the United States, where she faced her illness without close family nearby—but with a constant smile and a strong spirit.

She sold her delicious homemade breads to pay for taxi rides from Tooele to Murray, where she received medical care. Even in stage 4 cancer, she cleaned houses to cover her basic needs. She never complained. She never gave up. She fought until her last breath.
