Help Ana Fuentes Featured on "The Bleeding Edge"

I am Ana Fuentes, one of the survivors featured in "The Bleeding Edge". Many people have e-mailed me wanting an update on my health and my living situation. I was able to pay for my Resident Card renewal and was finally able to open my own bank account, thanks to all my angels of hope that helped us.
I did married again back in 2020 but unfortunately he walked away from us and left with another woman on December 2023. He doesn't help fiancially anyomore because he is not my kids father and my kids father is not in the picture since 2012

I am receiving some help from a homeless assistance program. As you saw in the film, my girls and I experienced homelessness - and this continued on and off for about 6 years until December 2018, when I connected with the homeless program.

You have seen in the film that I was forced to place my girls in foster care. My daughters were in 15 foster care families, as a direct result of my deteriorating health, starting back in 2012. We were finally reunited in December 2018 with my 3 younger ones and with my oldest until 2019 and remain so.

“The Bleeding Edge” has helped draw attention to the hell that many “E-sisters” are going through. I truly lost everything because of the Essure birth control implant and I have battled constant physical pain and emotional anguish since that time.

What you do not know is that I nearly quit filming. My younger sister was murdered during the filming and as I was still mourning the death of my mother from a year earlier, I was completely devastated. I wanted to stop filming and quit life. I was completely destitute - I was homeless and my girls were in foster care. I was in constant pain and I was exhausted. I didn't think I could continue.

However, God spoke to my heart and told me that I needed to continue filming to be a voice for my Essure sisters. Amy and all the staff from the film were very supportive and kept me going.

I have a strong faith in God and I believe that He has helped me with everything the doctors couldn't.
I am grateful for all of the support that I have received. Through the many people who contributed to my previous GoFund me, I was able to pay off many debts and through the help of the homeless assistance program, I have been able to provide a stable home for our family.

I sadly have to say that I almost had a heart attack and passed out and was hospitalized for a week, the doctors said I cannot go back to work and the doctor suspended my Driver's License. Because of my health, I cannot use the bus that much because walking too much causes me pain, neuropathy and high blood pressure. Recently on March 2022, my left eye became 80% blind so now I am legally blind by the doctors.(Waiting for a miracle from God). My left eye's retina detached. I will be seen by many specialists and will be using Uber a lot. Turns out I have two of the arteries in my neck that connects to my brain, wrapped and they don't know how bad it is until they run more test.

Any donation will go towards our family's needs since I cannot work anymore until all the specialists clear me.
We struggle more towards the end of the month since our food stamps run out fast due to all food going up on prices and my cash aid not being enough to last the whole month.
My oldest who is 22 is trying hard to help pay but she is trying to go back to school and will have to work part time when she does.

We were so close to leaving the homeless assistance program because our income had increased but with me not working, we go back to square one. We are trusting the Lord, He will provide and will whisper to all of our angel donors to help us.

Thank you to all that have contributed and have helped us. God bless you all.
