Hello, My name is Maria Romero. I am originally from Venezuela but currently live in the UK; my cousin Ana who lives in Venezuela has recently been diagnosed with a tumour which obstructs presently 90% of her colon. As it stands, it threatens to burst and cause peritonitis; she requires immediate surgery.

She is and has always been an extremely hard-working woman, often inspiring me never to give up, keep my chin up, and go out into the world to make something of myself because looking back or giving up was never an option.

She feels well with the treatment she is currently receiving and is holding on to Him, who can do all things. Her heavenly peace is fantastic, and I pray that God continues giving her the peace she needs in this challenging time.

We are waiting on the biopsy result; independently of the development, the tumour must be removed. Most of you would be aware of the current situation in Venezuela. The minimum wage is 55$ a month. The surgery has been quoted at 12.500$. Ana has been busy selling everything she can and even organising different events to raise funds; between family and friends, we have raised 6.000$. But we still need more for immediate surgery.

Ella es y siempre ha sido una mujer extremadamente trabajadora, a menudo inspirándome a nunca rendirme, mantener la cabeza en alto y salir al mundo para hacer algo de mí mismo porque mirar hacia atrás o rendirme nunca fue una opción.

Se encuentra de animo con el tratamiento que está recibiendo actualmente y se aferra a Él, que todo lo puede. Su paz celestial es fantástica, y oro para que Dios continúe brindándole la paz que necesita en este momento difícil.
