Hi, my name is Ana Cruz Jara and I live in Yonkers. NY. On April 6th my parents and my sister were diagnosed with COVID-19. They live in Lima, Peru. Their condition quickly worsened in a few days. I arrived in Lima on Thursday 15th and my mother had already been admitted to a hospital in a very critical condition. Unfortunately she passed away on Saturday 17th and I couldn't even say goodbye to her or her body. Due to the magnitude of the pandemic in this country, I have had to take care of my father and sister at home because there are no beds or oxygen in the hospitals. My older sister and I are the ones who are assuming the costs of their treatment and we have already spent all our savings and have requested personal loans to continue to pay for the costs of medicines and, above all, oxygen which is so expensive. I would like to ask if you please can help us to continue with the treatment of my father and my sister. I do not want to lose anyone else in my family. Thank you.
