Please Help Me get to Washington DC

Hi, my name is Alex Alcaida, and I am in 8th grade, currently attending Wallace Junior High. I was one of the few selected from my school to go to Washington DC for five days. We will be visiting museums, memorials, and multiple famous landmarks, such as the White House, the Lincoln Memorial, and the Arlington National Cemetary. I am especially excited to watch the Changing of the Guard, and see the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

I was so excited to be chosen , but also sad at the same time. My parents are disabled, and are financially unable to afford any part of the funds needed. So, I am asking for your help in raising $2,500 by December 1, 2015.

I would love to learn all I can about our history and see everything in person. I thank you all for considering to donate to my trip, for this is a once in a life time experience I do not want to miss out on.
