Save Our House! We are a single-parent/single-income family and with the reduction in work and the increase in living expenses, we've fallen behind on our mortgage. We are at the point now, despite our best efforts to catch up, that we face foreclosure. With all of our utilities also behind and facing shut-off, prioritizing funds is just not really possible anymore. I have 3 degrees and work professionally. I have always managed my funds with care, but severe health problems resulting in two surgeries last year just devastated my "rainy day" savings. While I am looking for new work that will cover our expenses, even have been taking new training in other fields, and picking up extra freelance jobs, we've continued to fall behind. Our family has been amazing in offering as much assistance as they could, but we're beyond their abilities now, too. We are hard working, but we just need a hand up out of the ditch we've fallen into. We sincerely appreciate any assistance you're able to give!!
