Urgent Appeal for Sanjana-Monika

Beloved sangha, family and friends, 

As you may be aware, in 2020 I was diagnosed with stage 3 low-grade ovarian cancer. Today I come to ask for your help and support to be able to undergo an intensive cancer treatment. 

Since the diagnosis, I have been following the treatment plan suggested by my doctors, starting with multiple surgeries, followed by chemotherapy and then hormonal therapy. These treatments were very taxing for the body and invasive, but unfortunately not effective. The cancer was consistently progressing and had begun creating life-threatening obstructions and complications in the digestive system. I knew I needed a different and more comprehensive approach.

Though this period has been very strong and challenging, it has also been rich in blessings. I stay in Monte Sahaja in Portugal as a close student of Moojibaba, who has been walking hand-in-hand with me, always and especially at this time. I have directly experienced the power of his prayers and grace, and it is his great love, presence and guidance that allows me to use these times as an opportunity for my growth in spirit.

A close friend recommended a type of holistic cancer clinic that she had attended with very good results and found one in Germany called Arcadia. They offer specialised tests and treatments to work alongside chemotherapy to make it much more effective and much less toxic and damaging to the body. They also use very modern diagnostic methods to understand the cancer and current physical condition to create an individual plan to fight the cancer and restore the body into health. At the time, I did not qualify to attend, not because the cancer was too advanced but because of the severe complications in my digestive system.

Very recently, I began a new form of immunotherapy-chemotherapy which is currently in a trial phase for cancer treatment. The immunotherapy itself has significant side effects, such as affecting the kidney and heart function. However, the cancer is responding to it and scans are showing that some tumours are shrinking in size, and the digestive issues have also reduced. And so I contacted the clinic again, and by total grace, they recently offered me a place to undergo their treatment plan.

I accepted the offer as I know this is a chance at a life-saving treatment, even though I don’t have the funds. I know it is a lot, but I feel no other choice than to reach out and humbly ask for your help. Each donation, no matter how small or big, is so deeply valued and appreciated, as well as every expression of your heart-blessing. Also, please share this fundraiser with whomever or wherever you feel inspired to. This can help so much. 

It is happening quickly! I am travelling to the clinic to start the treatments on Sunday, 16 July. A dear friend has made the initial deposit to secure this place for me. The cost for the clinic is €‎41,000, which is a 4-week intensive stay including all treatments, diagnostics and travel expenses. The remaining amount is to help support some of the extensive medical costs and treatments I’ve had and will have over the next years, which so far have been about €1500 each month.
