A short comedy that with feel familiar to Jews of all ages!
Hello everyone, we are the creators of the short film An Unorthodox Shiva!
A brief overview:
People-pleaser and secular Jew Aaron needs to completely overturn his 40th birthday party into a shiva when he learns his uncle has passed away. He has to invite his orthodox Jewish Family into his unorthodox life. A recipe for disaster.
It's a story about family, our relationship with religion and culture-clash.
This short will be used as a proof of concept to pitch for development money to make a feature film. It will also be submitted to multiple Film Festivals around the world.

But we need your help to make this film a reality!
We already have a wonderful crew ready to create this short film, however we still lack funds that could allow us to make the best possible version of our film a reality!
Donated funds would go to:
Paying Actors
Finding appealing filming locations
Buying props and objects for the film
Catering for the crew/cast
We are aiming to start using the funds within 2 weeks as we must start shooting between the 20th and the 26th of November 2021.
No raffles, sweepstakes, giveaways, or promotions are offered in exchange for any donations made to this GoFundMe fundraiser.
